NJ ROAD TEST SERVICE
When you’re getting ready to take your NJ Road Test, Primo Driving School will support you with our NJ Road Test Service. A certified driving instructor will provide a review lesson and accompany you to the NJ road test, where you will use one of our dual-controlled vehicles for your NJ road test.
NEW DRIVER TRAINING PROGRAM
6 HOUR BEHIND THE WHEEL TRAINING
Primo Driving School is extremely proud of its New Driver Training Program. This program is designed for 16 year old students to obtain the NJ learners permit. This course focused on both cognitive and skills based learning while providing the state-required minimum 6 hour behind the wheel training.
DEFENSIVE DRIVING
Primo Driving School is proud to offer an online course for people to learn defensive driving techniques. This 6-hour online course is a fantastic training opportunity that affords you with the ability to reduce insurance costs and remove points from your NJ drivers license upon successful completion.

The Primo Driving School Story
Preparing new teen drivers to get their NJ drivers license is an important mission that Primo Driving School takes very seriously. Specializing in training teen drivers, Primo Driving School’s primary focus is to provide our students with the fundamental, cognitive and physical skills they need to operate a vehicle in a responsible and safe manner.
Primo Driving School, located in Cedar Grove, NJ, was founded in 2004 by Lou Marzullo, a veteran driver education teacher and coach, at Waldwick High School. Primo Driving School provides the highest quality driver training and driving instruction to new teen drivers in Essex, Bergen, and Passaic counties.
All Primo Driving School driving instructors have successfully completed the required background screening, testing, and training, and are licensed through the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission (NJ MVC). Further, all Primo Driving School instructors are Drive Safer Certified™.
